Not me either. I also didn't have Hawai'i beating the Berkley Bears.

To be clear, I did not enter the BA pool, but I'm in an office pool back at my old place of employment. I used to have the reputation of being able to pick the first-round upsets, but this year and last I've not been so good.

Didn't see that 4 future NBA lottery picks would get beat by a team that played together for a long time? Hmmmmm

BIG is kind of sucking. Good thing they added MD to join IN as survivors ...the rest of the league has all the fanboards dissing the Big 12 and snickering about :"the best basketball conference" for losing ...while their own conference is punting winnable games.

I had Yale and Hawaii winning, believe it or not. MTSU not so much.

And WVU trails SFA by 11 with about 4:00 to go, and they look a-w-f-u-l.

that gives me a lot of satisfaction. Mich St, WVU, PU ....it is pretty cool. WIth the undercurrent of folks from Bilas to others who are calling for some credence to be given to the mids and non P5 schools. I heard one of the Talking Heads rail at Greenburg's assertion of "Parity" being achieved. He said Parity is what they say when an upset occurs...but there is not really parity in his eyes and he gave several examples.

I like that the mids are playing well. Now, I hope a large emphasis is put on the fact that there may be more parity if close to 90 Per cent of Non Con games were not played at P5 schools or "nuetral" sites like Kansas at the SPrint Center in KC.

Awful describes Huggy's game day attire. I wear better threads to clean my garage. The kid wearing 0 looks like an NBA player to me.

I like the press getting on board

After 2 days of NCAA: No real power at upper level this year, and mid-majors prove why big boys won't play in their arenas. #NCAATOURNAMENT

Okay, so who has a Final Four of MTSU, SFA, Hawaii and Yale? Don't be shy. Raise your hand.

I don't think MSU has 4 future lottery picks on its roster. I know what you're saying but I don't think it's happening.

Was responding to OCF not choosing the Rainbow Warriors over Cuonzo's reft of talent. Not looking for any of MSU kids to get more than a look and a cup of coffee the league. Then again I never saw Valentine, who one of my friends insists looks surprisingly like donkey in Shrek, stepping into a major role and becoming a legit POY candidate. The Cal guys all have to potential to be drafted on their potential

What's a little typo among friends?

And, BTW, I also picked UNI over Texas and I have them getting to the Sweet 16; I guess will see about that. For the record, my Final Four are Oregon, Villanova, Xavier and UVA, with Oregon winning the championship game against UVA. Probably all wrong, but that's what I've got and I'm sticking to it until it's proven wrong. Probably on Sunday. ;-)

Anybody else completely bored by last night's games? And I'm not talking about none of them being close. I just don't think there was an interesting matchup in the bunch.

Absolutely boring Thursday. Duke - Oregon was the most intriguing to me and turned out to be so but only because Coach K tarnished his image a bit during the handshake; but who can stay up that late to watch bad basketball?

I'm sure the NCAA is glad that their insistence on loading marginal West Coast teams into the tournament might pay off with West Coast viewership this year.

Coming home from seeing my Bro in Cali last night. THis last week showed me what I had really known since he moved out there in '81. I could not live out there and have my addiction to hoops and sports in general. My bro and my friends in Napa insist they "follow" sports but there is no way with games starting at 4 local they can be engaged and really watching at that time. I had a hard enough time a week ago thursday and friday for the 1st 2 rounds of the tourney and keeping a computer running in my dictation station between patients. No way they are watching a half court trap'/1 3 1/swing offense or any of the finer points of hoops while they are sitting on the I 5 or still finishing up at work.

Interesting that they had a discussion on a sportsradio station at 2 am while driving home from indy about the NCAA playing these games at 10pm to appease the west coast fans....Indiana North Carolina should not tip that late. Ridiculous for those athletes to play at that starting time. Considering most of the basketball fanbase lives in the eastern and central time zone why are we forcing the athletes and fans into a slot to satisfy the minority? Super Bowl, NCAA Finals, World Series all fall prey to the same thing. I suspect OUr fanbase is similar to those of the bulk of the NCAA Map shows the bulk of schools and population is over here>>>>>>>>>>

Here's a cool map to add to Tom's - when people go to bed. Interestingly the further west in a time zone, the later people stay up.

My first trip to Cali was 2 years ago during the NBA finals, and that was without a doubt the strangest thing about the time difference. You come home from dinner to post-game interviews. At first, I thought it was highlights from the night before, but nope.
