It's even more impressive that they do it with Tempe and Tuscon not that far away. These little private schools have some advantages that small public schools don't.

It's even more impressive that they do it with Tempe and Tuscon not that far away. These little private schools have some advantages that small public schools don't.

If you want to throw Duke in there, sure. Xavier is another example I was thinking of.

or Butler with 4K ...good greif. Looking at that number...there are 6 or more HS within 10 miles of Butler that have that many kids

Speaking of that, last night I was surprised to see FGCU has an enrollment of 14K plus some. If I remember correctly, I don't think the figure was that high back when they ran through G-town and SDSU.

There is talk that admission requests are up at Butler thanks to the Tourney runs...and that they will increase enrollment as part of the plan to use sports to grow the college

Yeah, I don't remember the exact numbers, but on TV last night, they ran a graphic that showed how applications and alumni donations at FGCU went through the roof after their 2013 run.
