When does Wiz earn his degree? If it's next year and he hasn't improved, he can get another free transfer. I think that would be a mutual decision at that point.
I think he is out of eligibility after next year. He is a true non-Covid regular senior.

Freshman - 2020-21 - Louisville
Sophomore - 2021-22 - Louisville
Junior - 2022-23 - Ohio
Senior - 2023-24 - Ohio

Unless they can retroactively claim his sophomore year (only appeared in 5 games) was a redshirt even though he was never labeled a redshirt?

Thanks for posting. Best article I've seen to date that actually explains that this is a mess created by state legislatures and state lawmakers. Interesting is the College Football Players Association is against any uniformity.

Also of note is two states with current legislation that will make athletes in their states employees.

I thought 20-21 is the free year, so he would have two years remaining.

You're right. The extra year applies to Spring 2020, Fall 2020, and Winter 20-21.

So funny to see the quick rush to yell at Boals, when he was exactly correct.

Even crazier when JL said after that game he had 8 players say they wanted money or they were leaving.

It has to be so demoralizing for these coaches to work so hard to build a cohesive team environment and then just get pummeled with demands and departures every year.
