I'm glad Tony didn't tell us to step off.

I made tuna and salmon sandwiches for our celebratory rock climbing party, because I know Tony doesn't like peanut butter.
I am down for some rock climbing. . . totally down . . . mark me down

But not manana . . . I'm having a boil lanced manana. . .

As for the NFL, teams don't want a minor league team because they don't want to risk their guys getting hurt.

Reminded me of this: http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/wwe-vince-mcmahon-xfl-...

Just announced that Tony will wear green & White again next year
Wise decision by him a and great decision for the Cats
No surprise whatsoever. I knew this was going to be the case the second I heard he was looking into the process. No way was he going to leave early. I actually got a good chuckle when he announced he was even looking into it. Gary Trent he is not.

While some thought it folly, the process is in place to provide education as well as a path to the draft. It was a very smart move on his part. Allowed him to speak to NBA executives and scouts to learn what he needs to improve upon to play professionally - be it here or overseas.

Yes - that is a smart move, why not do it?

I doubt he would take as seriously pretty much the same advice about what he needs to improve on to have a shot in the NBA or overseas from BA board posters as he would those execs.... :)

I recall a full hour of Dakich talking to IU supporters about that subject. He was all in favor of kids going and participating as it would be educational, get them on a path to improvement. Not all those are going to be as self driven as Buddy Heild and going to the combine defines and illustrates their deficiencies and their strengths. Low cost and certainly a lot of upside without much downside. A free look and interview. Why not?

He is going to be able to add more to his game now. Hopefully he drops a few more LB's and picks up more defense. With Culver on the perimeter he will not have as much driving at him. And another year with Jaaron is also going to help.
