Why doesn't anyone complain about how lopsided and uncompetitive the women's games are?

Although the talent across the world is improving the real reason some of these games were close is because USA's true A team declined to play for various reasons.

Guys who should not have been on this team: BARNES!!!, Lowry, Derozan, Butler, Jordan, Green

Guys you should have been: Lebron, Paul, Leonard, ANTHONY DAVIS, Love, Westbrook, Wall, Curry, etc, etc, etc.

Hell, if just Chris Paul and Anthony Davis are there I think average differential would have been 20 points more.

DeAndre Jordan was a great fit on this team I thought. You can't have 13 offense first players and expect to dominate everything.

I think part of the problem was the three players who played the most minutes were Kyrie, Carmelo, and Durant. All superstars obviously, but none of them are known for their defense.

I would get rid of Jordan and Carmelo and replace with Anthony Davis and Kevin Love. But since Carmelo is grandfathered in, get Green off there for Love.

If Jordan has to stay that is fine, but the other 5 I mentioned are complete misfits for this team. Borderline useless.

Of the 3 the only one known to play with a passing and sharing mentality is Durant. If you had 3 balls on the court Durant is going to see who may have a better shot while the other 2 are gonna find a way for the ball to leave their hand toward the bucket. Defense is suspect as is team play. Goes back to what MJ said so many years ago...."It's very important to get my teammates involved, It's my role to keep them in the game." I have a hard time believing Carmelo will do an about face and change his game like MJ did. That season came after MJ realized that all his high scoring games were not bringing wins. It all changed after that...

I liked Deandre Jordan on this team, too. Anthony Davis is a great player, and having him in Rio would not have hurt anything at all, obviously. I know Jordan is not a premier offensive guy, but for rim protection and rebounding he was a good fit. And as much as I think Cousins is a head case, he's one heck of a talented guy and he played well in the games I saw from Rio. A front line rotation of Cousins, Jordan, and Davis? Yikes.

And in the interest of protecting the worlds' testicles, leave Draymond at home.

I think it's more about teams meshing well, and sometimes the star studded USA team is a great compilation of players but not a great team. Maybe they should let the NBA champion team & coaching staff represent the US, less any foreigners on the team. Not practical and mostly joking, but I bet they would be ore dominant than the US team.
