I suppose. But at some point other teams are going to have two big guys pounding the boards. And if they have two bigs plus guards and wings who also go to the glass....
Villanova just won the National Title playing mostly 3 guards, occasionally 4. I think the need to have huge guys on the floor at all times is a little overrated. The need to team rebound is probably more important in my opinion. Get 1 more board per game from KK, Dartis, Block than they did last year, and that could go a long way. It could mean 3-4 more ppg if half were offensive boards.
With this year's group, I'm more interested to see some depth develop, and see 9-10 guys avg 10-12 quality minutes a game. That should allow for scenarios to play big, or to play small, in order to match up.
