Saw that. That's good for OHIO...everytime they talk about the Shaq of the MAC it is positive that talent can land here and do well. Hope he has a HUGE career and becomes a crowd/media favorite

Was hoping for Michigan State but excited to follow his career regardless.

Agree, Andrew. Too bad Duke is never on ESPN.

The same Michigan State that allegedly offered Shaq $15k in cash to transfer from Ohio?

Anyone else just get that "I feel really old now" feeling?

In reports down here he said Coach K told him he could "bring his ego". Not sure what that meant.

Is this where Monroe declares we should never ever talk or discuss Gary Trent Sr again since he didn't tell/force/make/trick/threaten/bribe/pay/beat/etc. his son to come play for Ohio??? I mean how in the world does Trent Sr play for Ohio and not Trent Jr??? How dare his son get to make his own decision!!! What is this world coming to???

Definitely--definitely--equivalent situations.

Yes it's about as equivalent as accounting and being a College running back

I must admit I am glad Trent Jr chose anywhere other than UK to play. Their fans are insufferable and I wasn't looking forward to rooting for them.

Go Duke!
