At the moment, I'm planning to tailgate beforehand. For clarification, are they going to allow tailgating in the Convo lot, or just Tailgreat?

Anyone else planning to do so beforehand?

Tailgating is always allowed in the Convo lot for games - provided that fans do not take up an adjoining space.

However, for this game, we'll have Tailgreat Park open along with inflatable games, cornhole and more (similar to our football set-up).

Tailgreat Park opens at 7:00 am. Come early for a full day of basketball, tailgating and fun!

get ready to see a lot of points in this one. Rio Grande doesn't waste any time putting the ball up.

So we can't get a student to webcast this thing? I am disappointed. Bobcat fans are rabid and I would love to be able to see this game, even though it's just an exhibition. When I look at StretchInternet it only has the Buffalo game so they don't have their basketball schedule on there yet for webcasted games. I am just dying to see how we play and especially how Carter, Dozier and Culver play, along with how much the other guys have improved.

Won't home games this year be on ESPN3? Including the exhibition this Saturday?

I see that Toledo and Ohio Dominican are slated to play on ESPN3 that day but no one else from the MAC.

Yeah, I'm hoping I'll be able to watch this on a webcast. Someone needs to bring their cell charger and Periscope the first half!

I confirmed with Russ that there is no radio. Last year was the first one they've done. Contracts were written for 30 games and there were only 29 regular season games.

Anything! I was excited to see Kenny and Jaaron last year but didn't know anything about the freshmen and I really wasn't expecting much more than a .500 season in SaulBall Year 2. But we exceeded expectations. Now I want to see our two hyped up freshmen and how we mess Post-Setty. I am super pumped for this year.

You set low expectations last year then. ;-)

I'll see what I can do about some tweets. Maybe those using twitter should start using #BobcatAttack for times like this?

I have been able to get into Chat while at the game on occassion. See if we have enough battery tomorrow and try to do some running commentary if I can get in on the mobile. Twitter is a good Idea as well.

Looks like Kenny needs to settle in. Carter already showing some things. Culver and Laster will be deadly defensively..will need that against teams like Kron Buffs and Northern.

Back from the game with a few observations. Culver is the real deal and Carter could become a very good player given the opportunity to develop at the coach's pace and with proper conditioning and weight training. He's an overgrown kid with baby fat and skills beyond his age and physique. Plus he has a very nice touch from the foul line. Combine these two newcomers and you may have my next Javon Harris/Eddie Hicks (that was for my favorite elementary school teacher - squared/Steveland).

Good crowd today especially when you consider the local weather. This has been the best fall in 10 years in Athens. Played golf three times this week and plan to again on Monday. The full 110 rocked the house, Lou was in midseason form. The renovations to the Convo were appreciated - free device charging stations with credit card security so you don't have to stand there and wait, upgraded wine in the Rohr Room, and new seats with more leg room in the platinum section. Here's a secret - given the chance to score seats in sections 1-4 row G, you'll feel like you're sitting in an American Airlines MD 80 rows 20 and 21 (exit row seats). And according to a former dean of students, we have a new sound system.

And speaking of sound systems, the Ozone/110 helping the girl out on Sweet Caroline was priceless. From a customer service standpoint, today was a 10 and we were playing Rio Grande.
