Bob Mansfield, who has several Ohio players in his agency, sent me this update note.

Reggie Keely- Signed with BK Levicki Patrioti in the Slovakian SBL. This is a top 4 team and also plays regionally in the Alpe Adria Cup against teams from Croatia, Slovenia and Austria. Reggie had a nice season last year (43 games: 13.3ppg, 6.3rpg, 1.4apg, 1.1spg, Blocks-3(1.0bpg), FGP: 57.7%, 3PT: 40.0%, FT: 68.4%) . He was named Eurobasket.com Slovakian League All-Imports Team.

Treg Setty- Has signed with Lueven Bears in the Belgian Scoore League. This league is one of the better ones in Europe and is a great opportunity for him.

Devaughn Washington- Signed with one of the best Finish teams for this season Karhu Kauhajoki in the Korisliiga. He has been in Japan the last 3 years but moved back to Europe to increase his level of competition.

Stevie Taylor- Will sign in Serie C in Italy. Aquila Basket Palermo is the team.

It seems that American players oversees move around very frequently. I was actually surprised to hear Devaughn has been in Japan for three years. Are 1-2 year contracts the norm?

It's great that these guys and others have a chance to play overseas and experience other cultures. A very unique opportunity!

This is something I've wondered about too. It almost seems like they must operate on 1-year deals. It feels like DJ has been at a different team nearly every year despite playing very well. Anyone have any insight?
