These events don't bother me at all. There are plenty of good tournament opportunities for teams. The ones they are referring to are made for TV events and those are the teams that are going to draw viewers.

I think it speaks to a bigger point than a couple of tournaments. College sports is an oligarchy, and the rich programs have inbuilt advantages of keeping it that way. The symbiotic relationships with networks described in the article being one of many.

Agree-Let's just work on being the best we can be.

Maybe it's just in my head (whoa!) but I think the name OHIO has some cachet. When we're successful, the big players in video entertainment presentation are not averse to giving us air time.
