Van, those teams are solid and you make a good point. Milwaukee is a good example on this year's schedule. You don't have to go far to find those teams. I still think you need 2 or 3 on the road against P5.
I would be curious to know how many of those schools, besides say UK, Kansas, Duke, etc. even want to play Ohio? (or Akron, Toledo, etc) It's fun and easy for us to speculate, but we have no idea if they even want to play the better schools from a mid-major conference. I assume UK, Kansas, Duke, et al that are in the elite program category will play the MAC at home because they know they'll win. What about the bottom third of those conferences?
I like Van's post about UT's schedule. It looks a lot like what I would consider to be a really nice schedule for OUr Bobcats. In particular, I like playing solid regional opponents like Evansville, Detroit, and Wright State, and playing the best team from the CAA.
