Guessing you didn't watch. I'm going to have to take back the prediction of multiple 100 point games. Once the game is in hand he empties the bench.

If Saul told the guys that we absolutely had to win by >=40, and left in the starters, they could have done it today.

I enjoyed seeing Tony and Doug both in at the same time. I think Saul is experimenting with having two big men in at the same time (going large) as practice for when we get a big team.

Or it was because Kenny had foul trouble and isn't 100%.

The O Zone chanting "life on the road" at the end - and whoever must have tipped them off - was priceless. Made up for a pretty ho-hum game against a bad, bad team.
Really? They don't make any noise most games but somehow are motivated by this reference to Bobcat basketball that predates their middle school years?

Whoever thought that would be cool was mistaken.

against a team led by a former Ohio coach... on bball alumni day... in front of several of his former players from Ohio... winning by 26pts wasn't good enough? really?

The highlight of the day was the emotional reunion of Billy the Cat and TOS. The two of them were very close back in the day and there wasn't a dry eye at the scorer's table as those two old pals recalled those halcyon years.

I really enjoyed watching Coach O'Shea spend time reminiscing with Lou in pre game, those two seemed to share a lot of laughs and even a rare hug.

I didn't get there in time for the intros (kids' fault)...How was the reception for Timmy?

I thought the team looked great. They had 70 with about 10 minutes to go, just didn't step on the gas as the bench got work...they shot it well and defended well.

Hopefully everyone understands how awesome Jordan Dartis is. I don't want to have to constantly belabor that point like I had to during Tony's freshman and sophomore years!

In case there is anyone who hasn't checked the stats - Tony is averaging 20 points and 11 rebounds per game in less than 27 minutes per game.

I do think we've settled on basically an 8.5 man rotation, the 1/2 being Mike Laster. Dozier should stay motivated and hopeful that he'll get time next year...hopefully Laster & Harley don't get upset with what appears to be pretty limited roles in their upperclass years.

I talked to Shaun Stonerook and Brandon Hunter briefly, 2 from my generation. Would like to see these guys come back on a big conference matchup in front of a huge crowd instead of a weak opponent in December.

Wonder if he will remember that "acquired taste" down at the end of the bench? Ah well, the team and staff may not have the backstory but it is legendary and ongoing on BA.

Tone needs to step in up IN THE PAINT come MAC season. Was NOT there H1 vs a SMALL Bryant frontcourt - and H1 stas reflected that. Mark My Words (Vs 'Kron, EMU, Etc.)

Thanks for sharing. That's a really good video and gives one further insight into what makes Saul tick. He's a keeper!

Tremendous! I don't remember ever hearing that quote about Tommy. I don't think I would have said it in those terms but I sort of understand what he's getting at. To appreciate Tommy you have to watch him a lot because he's not a human highlight reel. And thankfully that acquired taste is Saul's main course because he is putting together a team full of Tommy Freemans.

Well Gavin sure is taking charges like Tommy did. Hopefully he's wearing some kevlar or something under the jersey.
