No team should score 98 on anybody in 40 minutes. If they want to be special, they will have to focus. This is the year, lets go Cats.
What kind of statement is that? My HS team was over 100 points several times in 32 minutes BEFORE the 3 point line. Loyola Marymount fans may find your view a bit narrow. Scoring efficiency and tempo have increased while the shot clock has decreased for the benefit of an seemingly impatient fanbase obsessed with scoring that can't appreciate the passing game/ball movement and tenacious Defense.
NO team SHOULD score 98 on ANYBODY in 40 minutes? I don't get this ....what kind of reasoning are you using in making that broad sweeping statement? What kind of rationale or evidence can you present to Coaches to discourage them from "letting" this happen? Should we return to 4 corners or do away with the shot clock or tell shooters not to aspire to shoot better each year? I am lost....but I am genuinely interested in learning why and how this thought is here.
