A physical Middle Tenn. State team was only down by 3 at half when the Cats decided to put an end to this morning game for school kids, with a 73-52 thrashing.

"Our kids played a heck of a second half. I'm really proud of them. Obviously it was a tough environment, but a very fun environment and exciting environment. We talked about our kids being good examples before the game for all the young kids that would be watching and I thought they were just that. I thought they handled adversity, and handled that MTSU run that gave them the lead in the second half, and I think we really responded. You know, like we always do. They're such good kids, they're really good at basketball. They're such good kids and they handled themselves very well today, and I'm just very, very proud of them." – Head coach Bob Boldon
