I'm watching the game and I see Dino Gaudio at half time. I think he graduated the same year I did in 1981. As far as I know he was not involved in the basketball program, yet he became the head coach at Wake Forest and is now a commentator at ESPN. Pretty remarkable.

His hometown is Yorkville, Ohio about 15 miles south of Steubenville on the Ohio River.

Ah, the twin cities of Yorkville and Tiltonsville. I thought he was a valley guy but was too far north. Now I recall---Giardino's cousin.

He was keeping manual stats too. Don't remember seeing that by BB fans much. Only baseball.
