These guys are a weird group to peg. They had respectable efforts against Washington, UCLA, and Villanova, but were also blown out vs. Cleveland State.

Shab, gotcha'. I believe they only lost to Villanova by about ten and UCLA by about 14. I have to believe that they didn't want any part if that powerful Urbana group. They probably would have been behind at halftime. Just sayin'.

But they did have a lot of trouble with that powerful Marygrove bunch, only winning by 16, 90-74.

Another impressive game was only losing by 5 to a very strong UNC Wilmington.

Shabamon, you're right, they are hard to figure.

UTEP has their only win of the season over Western.

That seems to be the way with those Texas schools . . . remember Texas State in football? ;-)

Arkley tweeted that he expects he will play. My guess is Campbell would have played last game if it was against anyone but Urbana.

Western's biggest challenge is their youth. As has been noted, they've played a pretty strong schedule. Statistically, the main thing that stands out is that they are giving up over 47% opponents FG percentage. They are a good rebounding team, so it will be important to keep them off the offensive glass.

Bobcats roll over Western in a big way! Probably the best complete game the Bobcats have played all season. We shot the 3-ball very well early, and the defense seemed to feed off that early success. Kent will be a much better test on Friday night at 9:00 in the Convo. The Flashes put up 100 to beat Ball State by 10 tonight.

Won't the 9 p.m. Friday night start interfere with the student activities on Court Street?

Agreed. I'll need to check the box score but I think ever starter had a 3 in the first 5 or 6 minutes. We will need to be tougher on the boards against teams like Akron and Kent. And speaking of Kent, it's a shame that we play two of our biggest rivals at home when the students aren't here - Kent this Friday night and Miami in March.

4 of 5 starters had a 3.

Great team win. Gavin rough shooting but 9 assists. Carter and Culver show why non con minutes were huge. Jaaron didnt even have a dominant game. If Laster plays like this we legit go 9 deep. We were the deeper team tonight which is a nice change from last year.

Block didn't score at all until his old fashioned three point play in the waning minutes.

Fun to watch us crush them.

From now on, I will root against WMU in every sport in every game after the way my friends and family were treaated by their fan base at the MAC title. Horrible.

Fun game. Great win. Liked what I saw from Culver! Highlight reel game for the Bobcats.

Big Tone looked great from the left corner broke the arc. Couldn't miss.

I'll remember this game for the walk-on's magic along with Block's ridiculous spin drive.

If I were still a student...(pause to daydream)...I would be back there for the game and for a "relaxing" weekend before starting up classes. It's really only one or two days earlier to head back to Athens.
