Maybe ever.
50 50 at half
One team shooting 75% and the other 71% FROM 3 in the 1st half.
That is ridiculously good then the final shot of the half was at least 27 feet...not pressured 5 secs on the clock...nothing down low, no offensive movement....just step up and knock it in...go back and play D. Sheeesh.
Defense is solid but guys are cutting, passing and making plays. Pretty BBall.
Looking forward to the 2nd half.

I used to go to the Columbus pro am and think that they were playing defense. I seen Van Exel score 40+ on my friend Damon Stringer, Damon Stringer scored 30+, I then seen college zone defenses hold Damon to 15ppg. The pro am was pickup up basketball just like UCLA and Michigan. UCLA shot over 67%, that is bad defense, but it makes for great entertainment.

I know you have a penchant for "bad" defense and maybe you can say it is "bad defense" because you believe anyone scoring over X points in 20 minutes is "bad"defense in your view. What I saw was a hustling UM defense that was recovering, switching, again recovering vs a really good use of the pass, dribble and ball movement. That defense was working hard and recovering well. UCLA was absolutely superior in moving the ball. On the other end UM with their ball screens and dribble penetration kicking the ball out and shooting in transition was finding open shooters as well.
That was a shooting show. When you shoot with 75 and 71% made you have visited the promised land briefly. Ball has eyes and your offense is clicking. IMHO it was not attributable to the blanket statement "bad" defense as much as good offense and having "makers" instead of "shooters". I posted back a few days UCLA was in the tops in 3 pt %. They are a team of "makers"... coached by a guy I saw put up 56 points in a regional HS game against a team of D1 bound athletes that doubled him all night long with "bad" defenders....that is not because UCLA has played a murderer's row of "bad" defenses. They are a legit "making" team. I am happy to have watched this amazing display.
