With Miami on tap, I am curious as to who we all consider our favorite team to root against in men's hoops. Not exactly who our biggest rival is, but more of "who do you watch just so you can be happy when they lose?"

For me, I'm going to go with Akron. Their general success in the MAC, combined with the Groce villain arc, makes it easy for me to root against them.

I voted other.

Generally, I think it's good for Ohio when the MAC is as good as possible, so I tend not to root against MAC teams unless we're playing them.

And I don't really care about Marshall one way or another.

I find Danny Hurley's sideline demeanor to be childish and annoying, so it's fun to watch UConn lose.

Kent State. Mostly because I'm from NE Ohio and have friends and family who all went to school there and don't pay one bit of attention to Kent State basketball, but as soon as they make or win a MAC championship, all of a sudden they get all hyped up. Pisses me off.

It’s O$U for me. I have family members and friends who are big fans. O$U does no wrong to them and they’re just dramatic fans in general. Constantly talking about “Ohio against the world”… like they don’t have money to buy anything they wanted.

always ohio state, by far the easiest to root against. I hate Akron but would rather them see success than ohio state

I hate OSU as much as the next Bobcat fan, but for some reason that hatred doesn't extend as much to basketball as it does football.

Touche. Bobby Hurley was the same way during his couple years in the MAC. Guess it runs in the family!
