Less shut down than OU cooled off. Toledo plays bad defense. Offensively? Is going crazy with a bench w have forgotten to use since November. Hubbard led the MAC in returning scoring from WMU. Ouwinga was a starter in November and is TKs highest rated recruit ever. Ford leads the MAC in 3pt %. Astonishing this team won any games getting 12 bench points and playing them a combined 20 minutes a game lately.

Hubbard with 15 first-half pts

OUr makeup leads to mismatches. But also provides mismatches on the other end. Lorentzen guarding any of our wings is a mismatch in Ohio's favor, but we haven't taken advantage of it.

Just don’t get Boals with Brown minutes. Comes out second half on fire and then sits him for four minutes and then Toledo goes on its run. Get Brown in.

I have never seen a home team get jobbed by the officials like we are getting. Hand taps are fouls on us while we get hammered. Great effort by OUr guys tonight. And Coach K is still mediocre.

I just don't understand. AJB has 19 in the second half, and we come out of a timeout and don't even run an action to try and get him an open look.

Somebody explain to me why Sheldon is in this game in the last four minutes and Boals set up a 3 for him out of a timeout? He hasn’t made a three-point shot since high school. I don’t get it.

I'm honestly encouraged by this performance regardless of the result. We're right there with them despite our injuries. We are playing a shootout tonight compared to a defensive slugfest against Kent State.

Toledo can't miss which isn't going to happen on a nightly basis. Credit to the Rockets for being red hot. Wish our defense was better but that's been a problem all year even when healthy.

Don't mean to call him out, but it really seems like has the yips. I've noticed he's been kicking his legs out more on his 3's--makes me think it's in his head.

This one is on Boals. Benched Brown for last nine minutes of first half. Then in last five minutes of game…Sheldon is in the game and misses two three’s and AJB doesn’t get a shot in last four minutes. And to top it off….Brown throws it in to Sheldon for the final three. Make it make sense.

Tod K 8-0 all-time vs Boals in regular season. I have no words for that. Tod K is his daddy for sure.

Coaching malpractice tonight out of Boals.

And in the last two minutes, he subbed Brown out for defense and we had an offensive possession in the last two minutes with Brown on bench.

I have unofficially....through 1-28-2025....Boals regular season/MAC Tourney all-time record vs Toledo/Akron/Kent is 11-22.
