I understand the purpose of the Double Headers and I really enjoyed watching both teams play yesterday, but do you think it impacts our men's team negatively? 30 minutes isn't a ton of time to do your normal pregame routine. I'm probably nitpicking, but I know some of these guys take more than an hour to do some of their pregame stuff. Also, as a visiting team, I feel like I would be a little slighted with only 30 minutes to get ready before we played.

A bit of MAC history. In the 70's, 80's and 90's, the MAC played double headers for every game. Women first then the men. At some point, the thought was put forward that the women's games could stand on their own.

That would definitely help with travel costs I'd imagine.

I'm all for the double headers on the weekends when it works out.

The point was that as double headers the women's game was analogous to a high school JV game - the warm up for the varsity where fans wandered in during the second half of their game.

I get the JV sentiment, but would the players rather play in front of 1000 or 2500 who all cheer for all things Ohio? Give casual fans a taste while they wait for the men, and maybe a few make it a point to go to a standalone women's game.

As for the men's warmup time, Eastern had the same amount as we had.
