Nice second half.Lots of fouls and T's and missed foul shots, but we sneak out of town with a win. Got to steal a few each year and KK with the game winner.

How in the heck did we pull this out with Campbell and KK practically missing the last 6 minutes of game? Way to gut one out. I think this might just be Saul's best win of his OHIO career.

What just happened? That was an insane game. Just crazy. We kind of stole that one.

Block was huge. Carter and Laster with 7 points each. 8 rebounds for Carter. Nice team win there for a messy game. Sometimes they ain't pretty I guess.

Haha; truer words have never been spoken!

I liked Carter's moxie; he got a key rebound and got swarmed by two Bulls and just cleared it out perfectly.

I was critical in the first half but man what a second half. J-Carter came through huge and so did Laster. I liked the lineup in at the end. Jaaron was gutsy and KK was tough to come in with his Kirk Gibson-like shot.

The way Tony plays defense and gets in foul trouble this team needs to to learn to win without him. Our rebounding is just horrible!

A win on the road is a good win I guess even if it's ugly.

Basketball is a team sport and its games like this that prove that you need the bench to bail out the teams big guns when they have an off nite. We won tonite with an off nite from our best player. Good teams find a away. Bobcats reached deep on their bench got big time contributions from Carter and Laster along with Block.

I will gladly take a birdie at Buffalo, especially one that could've gone either way.

For a change, the Bobcats found themselves down by a double digit lead in the first half, and at halftime. This time, it was Buffalo who saw that lead eventually evaporate late in the second half as OHIO eked out the win. I don't care how ugly it was. I loved seeing that killer instinct pull them through a tough MAC road win. Continue the blowouts at home, and win the close games away. That's okay with me.

Carter and Block just seem to always be in the right positions. Both excellent interior players and passers for their respective sizes and fantastic rotations on the defensive end.

That three ball by Laster late in the game was big. Shot looked a lot better than years' past. The other big play and swing in the game was Jaaron's steal after a missed (blocked?) layup attempt and immediate kick to Jordy for a quick three.

The technicals completely turned this game around. Ohio was trying to get back in it, but it felt like something needed to happen to swing momentum completely in their favor or else it wasn't going to happen. Three technicals will do that. It also felt like as soon as their big guy was ejected that the lanes just completely opened up for driving and interior passing.

He's starting to remind me of one of Saul's former players at NDSU Taylor Braun who led them to the NCAA Tournament win over Oklahoma.

Holy. Crap. That was a true highway robbery victory. I'd say that was more of a painful Buffalo collapse than it was a heroic Ohio comeback...but still, 3-0 against all non-slouches to start, very exciting. I know Buffalo has changed but this is still the team that ended our season convincingly last March.

Campbell fouls out having played just 17 minutes, wow that must mean Simmons was huge? Nope, struggled with the shot all night and had 4 turnovers and only 5 assists. OK then Doug Taylor must've stepped up? Nope, mostly a non-factor. Well then surely Kenny and Jordy were just draining 3s at will? Nope, 3 for 11 combined.

Block & Carter were huge on the boards, Laster & Culver gave great minutes. The 2nd tier stepped up when our stars did not shine. But that game winner by KK was a TOUGH shot.

Saturday will NOT be an easy matchup...don't want the team to look ahead, but as a fan I gladly will...would LOVE to see a battle of 4-0 Akron & 4-0 Ohio.
