WKU hasn't played at home since November 22. That's just brutal. This feels to me like like one of those mid-major games where the home underdog steals one.

In reading their message board it sounds like they are about in the same place we were in Saul's first year. Their defensive metrics are pretty bad and they are inconsistent on offense. That Indiana State game is a head-scratcher though.

I saw on trip advisor there is a BBQ place rated almost 5stars that is a ten minute drive to the arena. Smokey something or other was the name. Anybody up for BBQ?

I think basically all Fox sports broadcasts are, but you only have access to the ones on channels to which you subscribe.

Just did a scan and I see it is on Direct TV channel #608. I guess I'll find out tomorrow night if I have access to that channel, but it's listed.

I've tried to find out more about FCS but haven't been able to. It seems to be a PPV channel but DTV doesn't show info on how to order it. It may be part of my sports pack but I haven't checked. Tonight's men's game and the WKU women vs BSU game before it are the only two programs listed for the past three days.

Attendance could be lowered tonight due to WKU playing in the Boca Raton Bowl vs Memphis Tuesday and fans being out of town.

Stats show WKU gets to line a lot more than opponents. They slash a lot. They are over 72% from line. So hopefully we can limit that tonight.

The Johnsons are their most impressive players on paper. Que is a wing player transfer who was very good at Wash St. The other kid is a post player who is versatile with good strength.

Overall, their FG % is only fair. So keeping them from driving and hoping they don't go off from three might be a good strategy. We will see what our coaches have ready.

WKU is way down this year, this is not the same type of team/program that you've seen in recent years from them.

Saw it as low as Ohio -4' last night.....all the way up to -7 today.

Seems smelly.

Ohio at Marshall and at Iona were far from impressive. Ga Tech was ACC opponent, so easy to get up for.

Three days before Xmas....vs a team that I'm guessing 50%+ of the players on Ohio roster haven't even heard of......not sure if they're 7 points better tonight.

Not to mention the whole "WKU hasn't had a home game since before Thanksgiving" angle....I'm sure they'll be happy to be home

Funny to me that a kid has that nickname and he's one of their smaller players. I'd envision a guy built like Mr. Johnson in Akron just based on the nickname, a guy that might have an offensive lineman's build.

I'd be interested to test that theory (though I don't know how). I would guess that more than 50% of the players have heard of WKU.

I think most of their die-hard fans are in Florida and went to the Boca Raton Bowl last night. As a matter of fact, I heard something about "Toys for Tots" - i.e. - bring a new unwrapped toy for the underprivileged tonight and get in free. (that was second hand news so I an not 100% on it but sure enough that I will be stopping at a Dollar General on the way up and picking up a "compare favorably to Barbie" to donate just in case.)

Bshot, I think you underestimate our players. The staff has been educating them abt WKU recently.

Line I saw was Ohio by 5. I was expecting 3.5 or 4. I know WKU is somewhat down, but they have talent. They just haven't gelled yet.

If we bring our B game or better, it won't matter how much WKU is glad to be home, I think we will win. If we play badly and/or WKU shoots a lot better from three than normal, it could be a tough night. Hope the guys can bring home a victory.

I logged into my DirecTV account and it says FCS 608 is free/in my package. It says under watch on computer (Sorry this program is not available to stream on your computer). Under record to TV it says (we're sorry, we had some trouble processing your record request. Please try again). On my tv itself, it says the channel is unavailable and I need to text, click or call to add. So confusing.
