Wow. Denny is leading scorer. All 4 players averaging 14 minutes or more per game.

Three of the four suspended are starters (all three starting guards) and the other is a top bench forward. Bowling Green had a nine-guy rotation, so guys who haven't really played will have to play. Bowling Green already was a team Ohio should have been able to beat even on the road, but even more so now.

That sealed the deal - I'll be there

Predict a faced paced game from the Bobcats. And sure would think this is an opportunity for bigs to work on making aggressive moves to the hoop in the paint :)

BGSUCKS could literally run out of players!

I've seen teams shorthanded like this put forth Herculean efforts, so this doesn't guarantee a win. But if Ohio takes care of business, this should be a win.

They could run out BGHS and it wouldn't make a difference. Winning in BG is a monumental struggle for us (for some reason). Bank on a close and hard-fought game. I'd say it's a coin flip - even with them short-handed.

This is a guaranteed win. BG was already without 2 or 3 guys due to injury, now they have lost 4 more guys, 3 of which were starters. They are roadkill at this point.

I want to believe that but I have seen the Cats fall flat on their faces one too many times in Wood County to guarantee anything. If they don't win comfortably then I fear that they lack a killer instinct.

Nothing is a guaranteed win especially up there. We've laid huge eggs up there in just as sure win situations in the past. I sure hope the team isn't taking this for granted.

Look at BG's roster, I believe they now only have 6 players who can even dress and play in this game and one is a walk on. Talk about playing with one arm tied behind your back. With Simmons driving to the lane and Carter very active in the post this could very well end up being one of those games that you see where the other team runs out of players because of fouls and has to play 5 on 4 at the end.

We have the ability to smoke a team like Northern or lose to a team like BG without its players. Who knows which team will show up? I would love a statement win by 25 and even get Ellis some extra time. I'd love to see what McDonald could do with some of the top of rotation guys too.

In talking to some friends who are BG Alums. They're expecting to have 7 players available. They said Justin Turner and Jeff Uju are injured.

They guessed the starting line up would be Roderick Caldwell, Dylan Frye, & Matt Fox at Guard. Wes Alcegaire and Demajeo Wiggins would be the forwards. That would leave the reserves to be Malik Hluchoweckyj (G) and Ethan Good (G).

With only two forwards available, maybe they try to spread them out and go 4 guards 1 forward most of the time, who knows. Also, the two they listed as reserves have combined to play 22 minutes over 8 games (scoring a total of 4 points) this year.

I agree that this seems like a trap game in a way. I'll be interested to see what the line opens at for this game.

I'm glad several others noted this because no matter how good or bad these two teams have been in a given year, that place is a tough spot for Ohio to win. In the last ten years, Ohio has won up on the tundra of NW Ohio exactly three times, with two of those being in Jim Christian's two seasons here.

I'll guarantee a loss if SBH shows up; a win if he stays away.

The Post article on the BGSU game says that there's a lot of "parody" in the MAC. Russ and Rob could really run with that one...

Just today alone I had a vendor rep tell me he would pay me "in the rears" and had someone else say they hand't "stalked" that product in the past.

BGSU has been a thorn in Bobcat fur, men's and women's, for a long time. I hope we don't take this bunch lightly, whatever their numbers, and get a solid win while taking a big step forward on how to play interior defense without Tone.

+1 ^^^ Do I need to remind everyone here that Miami had everyone suspended for last year's game in the Convo and they gave us a pretty good game. There are no guarantees. These games scare me because everyone thinks it's going to be a walk in the park because they have 4 players suspended.

If we can't beat these clown show jokers, we are in for a painful stretch. Can we please get the Fake Jeff to tell us why this will be a titanic struggle?
