My only problem with CBS is being called "Ohio U." every five seconds.

The biggest change I would make....have a few Saturday NIGHT games. Would it kill you? How nice would it be spending an afternoon in Athens enjoying the sights and sounds of Court St and then take in a game at the Convo and head back uptown for a few more sodas?

Never understood why they never play on a weekend night...especially when a majority of the games aren't national TV games....so TV isn't an issue

I've been harping on this FOR YEARS. Take at least one non-conference Saturday game and make at Saturday at sometime between 4pm and 7pm. Do the same for one Saturday in MAC Play. This would be especially good during times when students are gone and hotels and restaurant openings are plentiful. With the large number of out of town fans, it would seem to make sense to me.

And for Pete's sake, how difficult would it be to do one of two things with regard to games that could get switched for TV?

1) List it as TBA on the schedule
2) Put an asterisk next to it on the schedule to indicate that it's possible that TV could cause a time change.
Just looked at my two remaining sets of season tickets as well as today's and they all say TBA for time.

Every game is subject to change apparently. I used to think the Tuesdays were safe, but now they are being commandeered by TV for 6pm (Really?) tip-offs.

It's getting to the point with basketball that you can't even plan. At least in football, the midweek game times don't change.

Speaking of football, isn't the schedule of dates generally released about the first of March?

Man I wish they would retire that video. That's about the most contrived message that I've ever seen. Can't imagine it influencing or attracting many students to Athens. The students are all too goody-two-shoes for my taste. :)

As for CBS - it's like watching a real game on TV. Love it!
Often times they run it right up against the MAC sportsmanship "MACtion speaks louder than words" one, which is the worst commercial spot ever created. Makes the Ohio commercial look like a masterpiece.

Agree with that. CBS does a much better job of actually talking about the game then ESPN though.

I agree with the frustration, because I remarked that the BG this past weekend was the first one I've been to in awhile that wasn't changed for TV. I do understand why CBS does it. They have a 6pm, 8pm, and 10pm triple-header at least two nights a week.

More than anything, wishfully, I'd like to see a longer notice period (used to be 21 days), and I'd like to see Ohio Athletics communicate which games (think I said that above) are subject to change for TV by putting something on the schedule. The last one isn't too much to ask, and isn't that hard to manipulate on the website.

I'm pretty sure EVERY game is subject to change. If TV wants it, they'll get it. I don't think it's very predictable.
