Good game at Worthen today. Bobcats played off the front most of the day and withstood several Ball State runs to hold on for the win. Balls really moves the ball well with the pass creating pressure on the Ohio D. Long skip passes and very little dribbling forced Cats to hustle and shift D quickly. Cats created a lot of turns and drops a pretty decent number of turnovers.

No stats available but they have a few gals who can drop crucial 3s. Outsized by Ball they had to front the post and get some weakside help to double the post and create havoc in the lane. Recovery to the arc was good as well. Needed to step up to beat the league leaders but they got it done. Congrats ladies

Good insights and well said. A win in Muncie against the league leaders is impressive. Ball's defense really focused on Lampkins to keep her from driving and limiting her shots
but she still managed 14 points and had a 5-4-4 in boards, assists, steals, worthy of a lot more points. Karlis, Agler (9 assists), Jenkins, and Burke made the difference with their outside shooting.

A statement win for Ohio, IMO. Ball State is a tough team and had only lost to NIU at home beforehand. Amani Burke continues to grow her game, and Karlis, after struggling shooting wise the last few games, came up big when her team needed it.

Luckily the three's went in, if not, 'Cats would've been hurt by the height on BSU. Huge revenge game coming up Wednesday, CMU comes to town. 'Cats lost in Mount Pleasant a few weeks back w/out Jazz. It'll be a different game with her.
