Very scared at time tonight. The key possession was when Ball State had a top scorer foul out and pearson twist his ankle. Blunted the comeback and pearson was never quite the factor. Cats 7-5 and with BG, Kent, Miami x2 a final MAC record of 11-7 is doable. Could be enough for the #2 seed this year so keep watching.

Thank goodness for Mike Laster. We essentially have a 6/7 man rotation and Mike needs to see 20 plus minutes a game. Laster, Simmons, Dartis, Carter and Block may be the starting five next year. What we need is a real big man.

Couldn't watch it in real time. Had to DVR it. However, the DVR ran out with about two minutes to go, just after the T on BSU for foul language. Glad we won. What happened those last two minutes. Can anyone give me a short recap.

Years ago we had an OHIO team that we called the Cardiac 'Cats because they always started behind, sometimes by 20 or more points, and then roared back in the second half and one in the waning seconds. This year we have a different version of the Cardiac 'Cats. Build up a big lead in the first part of the game and then blow it -- sometimes still pulling out the win (like tonight) and sometimes not. I liked the previous version of the Cardiac 'Cats.

Nobody on either team scored in the last 2:20. I also watched on DVR. Tale of two halves, for sure. From leading 42-17, we got outscored 60-37. Yikes.

Pithy but Dru Evarts would dock him for using 'less' instead of 'fewer.'

Saul is doing a good job he needs to call timeouts when opponent goes on a run after we get a big lead. he should urge his players to step up the pressure to get the lead even bigger. the team could be real good if they adapted a blood in the water attitude and moved in for the kill like a shark.

Agree I think - the "daggers" need to be as much or more on D than quick/early shots in the clock on O (and therefore better clock management when have a big lead)

You can blame me.......I checked the score towards the end of the first half and thought to myself "gosh they will probably end up blowing this lead."

Pessimist or realist? ; ) Glad they won but they sure don't make it easy on one's innards.
