Goes without saying, but a monumentally huge game.

If we want the better seed in Cleveland, a first-round bye, the momentum going to Cleveland - proof that we are legitimate title contenders in Cleveland - then we have to protect home count. This is a must win.

Are students still around for this one or no? Would like to see an electric atmosphere for the final week in the Convo. We need it.

Without question, Buffalo looks better getting off the bus than any team in the MAC. Uber athletic and deep. When I watch them play, I wonder how anybody in the MAC can beat them. Who can guard Blake Hamilton, etc?

Yet, they do lose games, although they've been much better recently. How will Ohio neutralize the Bulls advantage in athleticism? By good team defense and by hitting threes.

Can't let these guys get out in the open floor with a head of steam. They're too athletic and tough to stop that way. And limit their open three attempts. That's the only way they can beat Ohio, IMO.

Control the tempo, shut down the shooters like they've done all year and they should be fine. Also, gotta hit more shots than they did against Kent, which should happen.

I believe students should still be in town for the Buffs, but I think most will be gone by end of the week. We need this game to make sure we are trending in the right direction and peaking for the MAC!

I do hope there is a student presence. It was probably a pleasant surprise for the team to hear that many faithful Bobcats at Kent. If the students are headed south and the Convo sounds empty for this big game, it might be a little disconcerting for everyone except Buffalo!

During the Akron at Buffalo game last Friday, one of the announcers said that Buffalo thinks it has the best student section and hoMe court advantage in the MAC. Don't agree with that.

Out of all the student sections in the MAC from the State of New York they are clearly the best. At 4-4 they hold the best home record in the MAC from teams in New York as well.

The two best MAC crowds I've seen on TV this year (CBSSN, TWC/Spectrum, ESPN family, etc..) have been Kent at Akron couple of Fridays ago and Akron at UB last Friday. Some MAC crowds are catching up with those on Richland Ave.

They will crash the boards both ends of the court - we need to do at least SOME of that

Jason and Doug need to avoid foul trouble! They won't have a positive impact on the game if they are concerned about fouling out.

Well if we had a 5,000 seat arena every game would look impressive too...

We were bested 50 to 38 on the boards last time against the Beefs and still won by two. Not sure we get the same result if it happens again though. I would love to see those rebounding numbers even up a bit and pull out a much needed victory at home...

GO BOBCATS!!!

The two only had one foul each the first time we played them. Although Jason did play extended minutes because Tony was in foul trouble the whole game.

Crowds at other MAC schools are not in the same realm as Ohio.

We like to complain about our fans, but compare the Ohio @ Akron game to the Akron @ Ohio game.

One has the feel of a high-major college basketball game while the other had the feel of a high-major high school game.

Ahhh, my yearly visit to BobcatAttack.

Hello everyone, editor for ubbullrun.com here. Really looking forward to this matchup as it could go either way. Best way for the Bobcats win is as follows:

1. Limit the rebounding disadvantage as much as possible, this is the #1 reason UB stays in games they're not supposed to, see: Akron at UB game this year, Bulls won rebounding 42-22.

2. If you can shoot the three ball really well against us, we're kinda screwed

3. If you can clog up the interior, our zone dribble drive offense is also screwed.

Blake Hamilton — our point-forward — will panic if he can't find ways to get into the lane, either through a pass or driving into it. The offense will completely stall out if that happens and we're stuck taking awful three-point attempts if it happens. Best way to beat us is to slow the game down. Also really easy to hamper us if the Bobcats can scare Nick Perkins from being a post player and make him settle for three-point shots.

We're athletic but if you can stop us from using that athleticism like above, you have the game won.

Also, I'm a current student/member of True Blue at UB and I have to say the Ozone is still a notch up from TB. That Akron-UB game was half students in the 6598 attended game. It really was an embarrassment for the general public

We win out - we get 2 seed

We win 1 of 2 and Ball and Kent win out - we get 4 seed

We win 1 of 2 and Ball wins out but Kent loses one - Ball gets 2. We get 3.

We win 1 of 2 and Kent wins out but Ball loses one - Kent gets 2. We get 3.

Need to bring "A" game tonight.
