Among the state's D1 teams, we were 5th, behind Dayton, O$U, Xavier and Cincy, and best among the state's MAC teams: http://www.cleveland.com/datacentral/index.ssf/2017/03/oh...

Overall, we were 85th in D1 and first in the MAC: http://stats.ncaa.org/rankings/change_sport_year_div (For this one, you have select Men's Basketball, Misc Reports, Attendance)

Just imagine how much better the numbers would be if:

-We had a hanging scoreboard
-Game times weren't changed at the last minute to accommodate national TV
-Games weren't scheduled during student breaks
-Concessions were better
-Access to the Convo was easier
-Restrooms were painted

Or if the Blow Dryers actually blew, or didn't blow depending on how you're describing it.

According to that list, Xavier averaged more per game than their arena even holds.

As one that attends 6 to 8 games a year, I would agree that their attendance numbers are legit. They have several games that sell standing room only, and the upper bowl is crowded with standing people.

and we had better hand dryers in the rest rooms . . .

I'd say we'd average 10,000+

We may not lead the country in attendance but we certainly lead in attendance excuses.

We'd probably need to expand to 20K
