Ahhh, my yearly visit to BobcatAttack.
Hello everyone, editor for ubbullrun.com here. Really looking forward to this matchup as it could go either way. Best way for the Bobcats win is as follows:
1. Limit the rebounding disadvantage as much as possible, this is the #1 reason UB stays in games they're not supposed to, see: Akron at UB game this year, Bulls won rebounding 42-22.
2. If you can shoot the three ball really well against us, we're kinda screwed
3. If you can clog up the interior, our zone dribble drive offense is also screwed.
Blake Hamilton — our point-forward — will panic if he can't find ways to get into the lane, either through a pass or driving into it. The offense will completely stall out if that happens and we're stuck taking awful three-point attempts if it happens. Best way to beat us is to slow the game down. Also really easy to hamper us if the Bobcats can scare Nick Perkins from being a post player and make him settle for three-point shots.
We're athletic but if you can stop us from using that athleticism like above, you have the game won.
Also, I'm a current student/member of True Blue at UB and I have to say the Ozone is still a notch up from TB. That Akron-UB game was half students in the 6598 attended game. It really was an embarrassment for the general public
