Read someone sharing a thought that maybe Groce, Crean, and other hot seat coaches approach them for the vacancy. I can't see it, but who knows. I really can't see John going to Mizzou.

Mizzou is an interesting job. When in the Big 12, they were a pretty good program. Move to the SEC, and they're a cellar dweller.

Which is kind of a head scratcher, really, as I will stand here and say that top to bottom, Big 12 basketball is better than the SEC currently. Maybe they had more drawing power when in the Big 12?

Selling that you get to play (and maybe beat) Kansas is on par with Kentucky IMHO, but then there is considerable drop off for the remainder of the SEC when compared to the B12. Just imagine how much tougher the B12 will get if and when Shaka gets Texas back on track.

Agreed. The SEC is not that good top to bottom, yet they'll probably get five teams in. Four will probably deserve it depending on how the SEC Tournament shakes out.
