. . . As with most of the games this season, rebounds, turnovers, etc are all pretty equal...it's just shooting. We don't defend it well and don't do it well ourselves. . . .
And, why is this? I think that there is a psychological aspect to this. We give up so many three that we think we have to counter by jacking up threes, but we don't have a lot of good three-point shooters. We'd probably be better to concentrate on two-point shots. Of course, we miss a lot of short-range shots, too, but if we concentrated on that part of the game more, our two-point shooting percentage might be better.
Grasping for straws here, but something needs to be done different going forward or we are going to be lucky to get a CIT/CBI bid at the end of the regular season.
