Robert Morris will be 6-2 by the time they get to the Convo. They are a very good team, and will be all that we want to see in the Convo right now.

Rob Mo's schedule has been a joke. We will be favored in this game.

Other than getting blown out by a decent West Virginia team they have played:

Chatham (?)
StoneHill (?)
LindenWoods (?)
New Orleans (who dropped basketball and brought it back)
Canisius
etc etc

There should be no fear of this team. If we lose this game, there is real trouble.

ESPN analytics gives Ohio a 84.2% chance of winning. OU will be favored and this is absolutely a game they should win. KenPom is less confident but projects a 77-70 victory and has 73% confidence in an Ohio win.

A loss would just add to a growing list of concerns early in the season.

Chatham-StoneHill-LindenWoods would be a great name for a bed and breakfast but doesn't boost your strength of schedule ratings much.

Torvik predicts us winning 79-69. 82% of win.
Haslametrics prediction is 77.4-68.0.

This needs to be a W back in the friendly confines.

Ohio football is defending Peden, going undefeated the last two years. It's time for Ohio basketball to do the same in the Convo. Let's make it 2-0 at home this season with a win v. RMU.

Official spread is Ohio by 10.5 with total points at 144.5

78-68 more or less. YMMV

We must lead the nation in fouls committed off the ball during an opponents’ make…
And also in getting fouled on 3-pointers lol

Searls with 11 pts and 7 boards in the first half.

Searls and Clayton together has to be the lineup moving forward.

Boals will never do it. But would love to see him experiment with a starting lineup that included Searls and AJ.

One negative I take away from today is Evans. Was out of position often and just looked lost and timid. He's going to need to take a big step moving forward (and obviously put on 20-25 pounds) over the next 11 months to help us with solid minutes next season. And yes, I know we are basing this on a limited sample size of minutes through 8 games.

You hope that’s a young cat trying too hard to impress rather than being clearly unready.

That's what I said about him this time last year on recruiting board.

He still has size, athleticism and talent. All that we sorely need.

Gotta keep getting him in there for a handful of minutes in non-con games to try and get him acclimated quicker.

Oh baby I love it. That's what it looks like to shoot threes as a secondary piece of your attack with more selection. I hope it was a defined pivot and not just how the game broke. Again - Clayton, Hadaway & Searls are great paint players in the MAC. Clayton didn't quite have his normal touch yet still the trio was 12 for 19 from 2 with 17 boards.

Despite Vic's great finishing prowess, his willingness to attack the rim may be related to his deficiencies when choosing to go elsewhere with the ball. Lots of turnovers today just not a natural passer.

To the point on Evans, Searls arrival and subsequent success has relegated him to a freshman year of watching and learning. Absent an injury, I just don't foresee him in the rotation this year so I'm putting my expectations and evaluations of him on the shelf for the year.

Elliott & Sheldon are as good as you can get as far as bench guards. Losing Reef sucks (any word on his status?) but it is sure made easier with this depth we have.

Great to finally have an easy win. Took the seat upgrade to the student section today. That was my son who was 3 for 3 on the easiest trivia ever in the 1st half promotion.
