Louisville close to a deal with CofC's Pat Kelsey. If that happens, some of the latter's guys might bolt. We offered two of their freshmen, James Scott and Mayar Wol, in the past.
Kelsey taking Scott to Louisville.

Boals is not required to split his NIL allotment up equally between the three guys he will be getting, right? I was thinking about this while watching the movie "Air" the other night.

****SPOILER ALERT*****
>> Contains movie details if you haven't seen it yet. <<

OK, back in the day Nike was getting their a55 kicked in the basketball shoe business mostly by Converse but Adidas was on the rise. They (Nike CEO) wanted to split their $$$ allotment equally between three players in the mid to late first round of the NBA draft. Sonny Vaccaro (in-house talent scout) balked at that and wanted to use it all on one single player, of course that being Michael Jordan. He got his way and the rest is history.

What would stop Boals from using small sacks of cash for two of the three guys he will bring in, like the "Money Ball" big he already has coming in plus, lets say a guard from some HBCU that had big name offers out of high school but now will take what he can get. Leaving most of his NIL $$$ for a last remaining guy that we could go head to head with power programs for. Would that create any hard feelings down the roster for that one big money player? Do you think the athletic director would be ok with this? Could leftover NIL $$ if there is any, rollover to next time?

Florida State's Tom House (Centerville, OH) has entered the portal. We were his first offer out of high school according to the 247 timeline. Appeared in 53 games for FSU but only averaged around 6 minutes per game.

Maybe it’s a good thing we didn’t land him. Who knows if he’d stick around. That said, would totally revisit. My gut tells me he'll take a stab at a bigger school.

Good player against mid majors and if he's allowed to play center. Wasn't the case at UC.

Can’t see him coming here. But I am convinced we would have beaten Akron in MAC Tourney final with him.

Yea, agreed. I think we're a landing spot for P5 reclamation projects and top lower level (including smaller D1) talent.

We have reached out to Jamie Kaiser of Maryland. We offered him out of high school and will have some P5 competition. Maryland fans seem bewildered he would leave as he had a typical true freshman season of ups and downs, with glimpses of potential. Seems like a red flag of someone who could transfer again in a year or two.

Marshall Forward Jacob Connor, highly recruited out of Kettering Alter, enters the transfer portal. He has a "with that being said message" message on Twitter/X.

Essentially an Aidan Hadaway clone in the same class. Slight edge to Hadaway.

He does seem similar to Hadaway. But he had an off year at Herdistan from the field, shooting only 35%.

This dude is headed to the big leagues. He was outstanding in the tournament. I would think he's on his way to a Pitt or somewhere in the ACC/Big East. He will be a great fit for someone.

Shouldn’t come as a surprise, we’ve reached out to Tom House.

https://x.com/jamieshaw5/status/1775583213500399960?s=46&...

I feel like we continue to contact more stretch 4/wing types than true bigs and PG’s. At least house is 6’7.

He had an offer out of h.s. from Georgia.

He also had offers from Rice and Tulane = academics will never be an issue.

How about that Fear Leon? The nation would "never await" grades being posted.
