Well, the national TV schedule is out.

Our home game vs Kent is already flexed to Friday from Saturday.

There are two Friday slots for the weekend we host Akron. There is a Saturday slot too, but that's not looking good. Other games that weekend that might get picked up include CMU/WMU, BG/UT, and Kent/Miami. Looking grim tho

Two Friday slots the weekend we host Miami. Kent/Akron is then, but the others are gross. TV seems to like Toledo and Buffalo, even if the latter is down. Maybe.

The only sure things in 2025 are when we host NIU the weekend dorms reopen and the Sun Belt game on sibs weekend.

Man I was having a pretty good Friday until I read this. Doesn't affect me all that much way up here in Seattle, but watching a packed Convo from far away is nice.

The cameras are on the wrong side anyhow, so even if it's packed it doesn't show up well on TV.

Did anyone hear Marty Bannister, late in today's game vs. Buffalo, say something about an exhibition game this weekend vs. o$u? Something like it's top secret and maybe he shouldn't be saying anything about it?

And while we're at it, UT, after being decimated by the portal similar to OUr Bobcat football team, looked impressive last night in an exhibition game at UM.

My sources in Columbus caught wind at the football game that we are indeed scrimmaging OSU tomorrow. I might go sneak around the Schott tomorrow...would love to watch that.

Reportedly, James Madison cooked Virginia Tech in a secret scrimmage.

Tough to take those too seriously after Baker dropped 21 two years ago on UC in an our own scrimmage win. That said, James Madison is going to be tough regardless.

The score I heard was not pretty...81-49 OSU. I hope my sources are wrong but I don't think they are.

Scrimmage scores don’t mean anything.

Lol Memphis just had a player enter the portal. Four hours before the season opener.

Bro was dismissed on Friday after demanding a pay raise... https://bluffcitymedia.co/memphis-basketball-dismisses-fo... /

Received 47 votes for AP Top 25. Could be a fun conclusion to non-conference.

Good news.

The MAC's two TV time slots on Friday February 2/28 are going to Kent/Akron and CMU/EMU. I would NOT have predicted the latter. That means the home game with Miami stays on Saturday.

Only thing wrong with it, again, is it is a double header with the women playing after the men. Should be flipped.

Absolutely, should be flipped. Unfortunately, it won't be.

That is great news, I thought for certain we were heading to Friday. CMU/EMU...what the heck? You have to wonder if there is some factor going into that decision? Is the Convo hosting HS playoffs on Friday? Does the MAC make a conscious effort to "spread the wealth" of the Friday spots when they can? Either way, I am glad they went that route.

YES! As it turns out. DV boys district final double header.

Time to strike a deal with the local high schools so they play all of their Friday games in the Convo. That way we never get flexed to Friday.

Sarcasm, but not really.
