So we failed at turning the Harley post into a 13 pages of speculation. I'm really disappointed in us people......

Let's centralize our expert thoughts here ....

First up, grab that graduate transfer from Nebraska....

Also, are we done or is there another possible non-Simmons transfer?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Also, what's Tommy Freeman gonna do all off-season now that he's not re-working Culver's shot?

My sources say the backup C at UK might be looking at transferring after this season, just not fitting in.

I hear he and Gavin Block are writing a book called "The Art of the Charge."

I'm gonna anticipate a grad transfer or two just to keep the classes balanced.

Which transfer from Nebraska are you referring to? The only transfer from Nebraska I see that could make sense for Ohio is a freshman PF transfer named Elijah Horne. The grad transfer is another SG, which I'd argue Ohio doesn't need.

I thought I saw a kid from Sun Prarie WI that was leaving the program a few days back in an obscure tweet. I forget the name....maybe I remember 6'8 as part of the tweet along with Miles name

On the subject of transfers.

5 out of 351 schools have not had them

NC may not get you a diploma worth the skin of the shoop it is on...if you earn one....but they don't lose you to anyone else either

Don't we need guards/wings? Just lost 3 in Kaminski, Culver, and Harley. Need another PG for sure. But hard to find those late I figure.

We've got 5 PF/C types in Taylor, Carter, Dozier, Gareri, and Vander Plas. And they are young.

If the Nebraska grad transfer can do some Kaminski stuff, sounds good to me.

I wonder what the staff plans on doing with Vander Plas. He's obviously big enough to play in the post, but he is officially listed as a SF.

If he can play SF in a standard lineup or PF in a small-ball lineup that would be very helpful.

According to the verbal commits transfer page, Nick Fuller (RS JR) is 6'7" 204 SF from Sun Prairie who's eligible immediately. Only appeared in 15 games last year, playing 85 minutes going 6-9 from the field.

Theres also a 6'7" FR PF (Jeriah Horne) leaving Nebraska, but he'd have to sit a year.

Fuller is the kid I mentioned in another thread. Graduate transfer who had a lot of big offers out of high school. A Wisconsin kid, which Saul and Co. like. And obviously the Saul/Miles connection. This is all very, very speculative but I was just throwing a name out there.

So I understand the numbers can someone clarify. With the three transfers how many scholarships do we have open? How does this change depending on Campbell. Thanks.

With the three transfers plus Campbell we should have two scholarship open. If Campbell stays we have one. 13 scholarships.

1. Simmons
2. Dartis
3. Block
4. Taylor
5. Laster
6. Dozier
7. Carter
8. Gollon
9. Vander Plas
10. Butler
11. Gareri
12.
13.

Ideally two more sign here soon, but I could see two other scenarios: sign one new guy and also give a deserving walk-on the scholly for next year or sign one new guy and pocket the remaining.

I'd love to see us use one on the best available HS talent, possibly another ball-handler or wing player. Then we can save the other one for a potential D1 transfer if one should come available.
