From memory, not notes...
Very clear that he appreciates the toughness and resilience of this team. Never used Tony's injury as an excuse. Injury helped hasten Carter's development.
I'm interperting here, but he didn't sound all that optimistic about Tony's request for another year. Very pleased and appreciative that Tony wants to put his career on hold for a year so that he could return to Athens.
Guys will continue to work on strengthening their bodies this offseason. Mentioned Carter and Dozier in particular.
Pleased with all 3 recruits. Vander Plas will be expected to help underneath.
While he didn't says so in so many words, it sounded like he wants to use at least one of the open scholarships during the April signing period. Working hard looking at players. As many on this board have guessed, he's looking at bigs and maybe another point guard.
Wants a "more diverse" offense next year, with more opportunities for scoring in the post.
Is friends with Groce, says he was helpful when he--Saul--came to Athens. Texted congratulations to him.

Thanks for the recap, bruce.
All good things to hear. Really wondering if he and the staff have a trick or two up their sleeve for this late signing period.

The video that Ted posted in the Caravan thread was pretty interesting. Saul said HS players are our lifeblood, but he thinks we will be pretty good next so he won't rule out brining in a JuCo or a D1 transfer for the final openings. Sounds like everything is a possibility.

He also talked with enthusiasm about playing the Charleston Classic in November. I'm really looking forward to that!
