It's an idea that should be thoroughly considered.

I love it. But it seems impossible it would ever be implemented.

Interesting.

A few higher-ups -- including NBA GMs and TV announcers -- replied that they liked the idea, but it would never fly. "It's actually a great idea," Mark Cuban emailed Elam in 2012. "We couldn't do it in the NBA, but it could be fun in the D-League." (Cuban verified the email in an exchange with ESPN.com last week.)
I'm curious to see how it works out in this tournament. I could see the NBA trying it in D-League. The thought of not having buzzer beaters seems like it kills excitement, but if you still have a shot clock and teams are going back and forth trying to hit the game winning shot, that'd really be just as exciting.

It'd be a drag if no one could score... Especially if the game is already a blowout.

I don't really mind the end of games for college as much but the pros need to stop giving teams the ball at half court after timeouts. There end up being 10 possessions in the last 30 seconds.

I guess I don't mind the way games end in college basketball. The only thing I'd say I do mind is fouling down 7-10 points with 10 seconds left (as an example.)
