McCall NOT continuing his run at "SEE ROCK CITY" after all.

AMHERST, Mass. (AP) — UMass has hired Matt McCall as its next basketball coach.

The 35-year-old McCall spent the previous two seasons in Chattanooga, where he led the school to the NCAA Tournament in 2016.

McCall was my choice to replace Archie Miller at Dayton. We'll see how he fares at UMass.

I think Matt Figger will have a LONG rebuild at Austin Peay. Their top player by far was booted from the program a few weeks ago after a drug arrest... a guy who averaged 20ppg, shot 37% from three, 84% from the FT line, etc.

You have to want to go to Peay pretty bad to leave a top assistant job at South Carolina... a team in the final four.

I have a tip for you about 'nooga.

The Honda Superstore. People even drive from Atlanta and Nashville for a deal on a new Honda. They sell an outrageous number of them.

Interesting.

Great guy. Rhodes introduced me to him in 2010. Really nice guy and a good basketball mind. Done his time and earned a shot.

Open space on Wisky bench....wonder who will fill that spot?
