What sucks is parents like LaVar Ball get highlights and this great story goes uncovered. I cannot stand Duke but I will root for Jr.

Shows what a great recruiter Larry Hunter was. He lands the best player ever to play at Ohio without meeting Trent or Trent knowing where the campus was.

Careful....he recruited the 5'2' LaFerla twins too. Hunter failing to capitalize on the post-Trent years led to his ultimate downfall.

I'm willing to bet there's a bit of a tall tale in there by Mr. Trent.

There are now a number of high school seniors who are released from their letters of intent due to coaching changes... plus juco guys and around 300 other various guys looking to transfer. Saul now has a few extra schollies to work with. If he can even carry Hunter's clipboard in recruiting, let's see what he does while there is a virtual smorgasbord of suddenly available talent out there.

$11 million in 9 NBA seasons as the #11 overall pick. How things have changed.

When Bonzi turned down 26M and change we all thought he was crazy as he was erroneously advised he could get more...Trent was a damn bargain

“I told my son, ‘First, go to a basketball school. Secondly, don’t make it a basketball decision.’ Since everybody [is going to] use you the same way basketballwise, this a business decision,” Trent Sr said.

Wonder if Sr. considers his alma mater to be a "basketball school".
