What is the progression of the tournament in Indiana - Ohio has district (some areas still have a sectional first), regional then state.

Sectional / Regional / Semi State / State

4 classes 400 and a few schools. around 100 schools per class. Much smaller than Ohio. I think Ohio has around 800 and some schools.

Regionals bring 4 sectional champs to each regional Play 2 games in the AM and then meet for the Final in the Evening.

Semi States bring North 2 winners in each class and South 2 winners in each class then winners go to State.

We rent a Suite in my group of Hoop heads and spend the Day in INdy. Suite has TVs so we can follow the NCAA at the same time as the HS Class Finals. We have a couple of openings if anyone wants to come over and spend the day with a bunch of guys who have FORGOT more about Hoops than I will EVER know. COntact info if you are interested. Quad Runner (shawn Martin) is the organizer. I know most of the guys in there ....and know them only by their screen names in most cases but we are very accommodating to newcomers. Contact Shawn if you are interested and want to see IHSAA Class Finals and watch NCAA with some rabid Hoops fans.

========================================

The Hickory Husker group that I have has gotten a suite at boys state finals for several years. Last year we had 28 people and Bankers Life has one large suite that will accommodate up to 28.

Unfortunately, that suite isn't available this year, so now I have to have two 20 person suites to handle our numbers. I have 28 commits so far, but now have roughly a dozen more spots that I need to find some basketball fans to use.

We get them for both the morning (1A and 2A) and the evening (3A and 4A) sessions. Cost is $75 each for the whole day for the suite. (Each suite is $1500 for the whole day). That includes your tickets into both sessions. Food and drink are not included, but we may do something along those lines and everyone can chip in.

If someone wants only one session or the other, I will take your information and if I have spots available I will sell one session tickets for $40.

To make it easier on me, I would prefer to have 40 full day - both sessions - people, but if I have to I will split things up accordingly.

Our group has basketball junkies from literally all over the state of Indiana. It's a fun day and there are TV's in the suites too so you can keep up on the NCAA games as well! And all important too, electrical outlets to charge phones!

Anyone know if they rent out the suites in Columbus for the Ohio High School championships?

DO they still clear the arena between each class championship? That would rub most of us hoopheads the wrong way.

We are usually in for the whole day. Breakfast with 30 or 40 guys (I say Legends but they take exception) at Le Peep then over to the stadium suites, mornings session then Lunch at Bazbeaux or Tilted Kilt then back for 3 a and 4 a Final. Cheesecake factory at night to recap the day and armchair coach the day/discuss our brackets. Sunday many stay over for the Top 60 workout and selection of the Indiana All Star team.
