Neither. If we're serious about wanting the MAC to improve, we should hope to attract the best coaches possible. If someone can stabilize one or both of those places, that's a good thing.

Akron is in a deep financial rut. If he goes to Miami, they will be prepared to give him the facility upgrades along with the boosters ready to help as needed. Just saying.

The voting so far tells me the Miami rivalry is pretty dead, and we've moved on to the Akron feud.

Whether anyone agrees or not, several of us have been saying this for 3-4 years on here. Miami hasn't had a decent season since the year that Tommy beat them with that magical 3-point shot. We've won 12 of 13 or something like that. They have the worst fan support in the MAC in Ohio. Until they hire someone to inspire a real rivalry again, this one is toast. Akron, UB, Kent and Marshall are our best rivals, and have been for several years. Why? Their fans care about beating Ohio, and Ohio fans care about beating them.

And really not a stretch to say worst fan support in Division-One college hoops.

Ummm, I'll disagree, because, well...EMU.

But in fairness, EMU, Miami, and NIU all play before dismal support.
