Interesting hire. I like the Huggy Bear disciple taking over at Youngstown State and should be a relentless team he develops there.

Youngstown States' gain is Cleveland State's loss. He is from North Royalton (Cleveland suburb), played at Villa Angela St Joseph and walked on at CSU. Has strong ties to the NEO region and obvious ties to great local programs. I have good friends who are CSU alum and season ticket holders who are very upset with the hire of Felton. CSU doesn't need anymore season ticket holders upset as they already lost two big boosters and alum with one of the lowest attendance rates in D1. Jerrod was very interested in CSU job, but now is excited more then ever at the D1 level for YSU. He is slam dunk hire at YSU and is a up and coming coach who will bring toughness and relentlessness to a Penguin program in need of a change. He has the connections and now with Dambrot out in NEO, this helps in recruiting the region.

The Felton hire is a head scratcher. He seems like....Gary Waters.
