If anyone has a serious question they'd like us to ask Coach Phillips or Mr Schaus please reply below.

I'll compile a list and see how many we can get answered for folks who live too far away from a caravan location to attend. We have a couple weeks but its approaching fast, cant wait!

Coming down the stretch of recruiting, what are we looking to still fill in this class? Or are we looking to save those scholarships for next season?

Also, just off-topic here, but I'm shocked there's not a caravan in Toledo. I am about to demand one here soon and see if I can get one on the docket, which will probably be denied. Oh well, one day we will be back on the schedule.

But nonetheless, the Caravans are always fun and I do enjoy them.

it's been my experience that Schaus doesn't field questions at these events, unless you're looking to corner him at social time.

Attendance in Columbus isn't all that great so I don't know what it would be in Toledo. I do know that the Athletic Department could do a much better job of promoting the caravan stops...

Shoot the Dayton stop is blocks from my house - and I didn't even know about it until just yesterday when I looked it up!

I feel like Ted usually sends out an email about that. Maybe just hasn't gotten to it yet.

I would be there at least. But I totally understand why they choose the spots they do. All of them pretty good spots across the state.

The site is great - but even decent turnout ends up looking/feeling like a 5K attendance game at the Convo - Feels empty. Same turnout in smaller venue has "bigger feel"

I'm hoping to attend the Cincinnati Caravan but it's not looking too promising.

I would like to know more about the decision making that goes/went into choosing a new uniform provider and maybe some more details about what put Adidas over the top and who else was being considered.

Also would be interested if there is going to be some kind of official reveal event or if the new uniforms will just more casually debut as teams begin competing?

The last Cincinnati Caravan I went to was about 3 years ago at the Moerlein Lager House and I thought the crowd was pretty good. It was in a more moderately sized room, though.

RE the Adidas thing: from what I've read and how I interpreted it, Adidas was basically giving Ohio the best deal. We're paying/spending the same amount we paid for Russell, but we're getting more stuff in return from Adidas. So basically this probably came down to dollars and cents. Nike and UA probably required us to spend more.

I totally agree. Given more notice, individual alumni chapters could really help promote these. I love going to it in Columbus, but it could be twice the crowd with a little change in how things are done, and the notice given.

In less than 24 hours the Cincy caravan will be over and ill be looking forward to the next one. I love this event.

I love Coach Solich and the football program but my passion is hoops. I think Saul is a tremendous asset to our school. I cant thank him enough for being so gracious his first caravan when i was the first to arrive and misidentified him as a an OBC employee. Whoops!
