BA posts have included, on more than one occasion over the years, mention of Austin Peay basketball and Fly Williams. Most notably is how the former NY City star created so much interest at Austin Peay that fans all over remember it for "The fly is open, lets go Peay" chant. Unfortunately, Williams is back in the news for less positive news.

My youngest son's favorite trip...he bought his older brother a calendat at Hooters for a birthday present and all the staff crowded around the then 8 year old to sign it for his brother and he learned the "let's go Peay" chant which he still snickers about from time to time. McBin, TRMD , Jeff Drake made the trip...and the back way into the campus through a very crime ridden ghetto was not the most comfortable way to approach it I found out from locals.

I'm fairly certain that never gets old. I guess I'll never grow up.

I saw him play against Kentucky in the NCAA MidEast regional at Vandy's Memorial Gym (lost in OT).

He played the first half of the consolation game against Marquette before being booted by Lake Kelly in the locker room at halftime. He did return to play one more season.

If these charges prove to be true, this is very, very sad.
