mediocre or medioker, you catch my drift. Inferior or enfearior, nerd or nurd. TOS to finish second, let's give him a parade.
C'mon man, enough with this stuff. Let it be. You offer insight and research to this board. Don't ruin it with continuing down this path. It's not worth it.
I agree, I will not fight back anymore on this thread. Thank you for the compliment.

You're welcome (good catch on the kid to Ball State, as an example). May I suggest taking it beyond this thread?

Ted T. was good enough to post video of Saul's talk in Lancaster, I believe. He could sell ice to the eskimos. Even has me less pessimistic.

I don't really care if SP could sell ice cream to eskimos. I want to see him win a MACC or MAC Tournament Championship game and get us back to the NCAA Tournament. That is why they play the game. I am willing to give him 5-6 years to get there so I figure he has used up about half his time so far. If he doesn't get there in the next two or three years just call him Larry Hunter.

Good take and even Larry "It's a mindset" Hunter took Ohio to Big Dance in year 5. If SP doesn't make the Dance after 5 full years....the pressure is most definitely on.

I find encouragement in this post. It was often said about Jim Snyder that he could sell refrigerators to Eskimos. Roughly the same analogy. Of Snyder it was usually said in the context of recruiting. If Saul is as good a recruiter as Snyder, we are in fine shape going forward!

I'll worry about that in three years, and until then be optimistic rather than pessimistic.
