Chattanooga is close to cities like Atlanta and Birmingham, plus the strong juco basketball schools all over Tennessee. With the right recruiting and good coaching, the Mocs can be a mid-major powerhouse. They did win 29 games season before last.
I still think they would be a better fit geographically for the OVC than the SoCon but don't tell their fans that unless you want to hear the mother of all hissy fits with a long list of reasons why they "need" to stay in the SoCon.
