Did not see that although his minutes did decrease with emergence of Dunn-Martin. I would take him. He killed us at home as a freshman didnt he?
I'm in agreement - he's a player that's worth considering for Ohio. Time will tell.

Tavian Dunn-Martin is following Dambrot from Akron to Duquesne. That's two guards down now with he and Williams gone.

It's official, Antino Jackson will be transferring from Akron. Robotham and Ivey the only ones left in the backcourt.

Robotham is from Vegas. Hard to imagine he'll stick around Akron for all the upheaval and rebuilding.

I love how it's discussed here before it's ever mentioned on the Zippy forum.

They were talking about it yesterday in the 2017-2018 thread: http://zipsnation.org/forums/topic/37227-2017-2018/?page=3

I'll add that Akron's pipeline to Texas talent, specifically the Houston area, will more than likely disappear with Dambrot's departure. I think the Zips had something like 7 players on its 2016-17 roster from Texas.

Central Michigan losing two more, this time to transfer:

Janeau Joubert
Hunter Hale

Both former walk-ons, not much playing time at all this past season, but that's two more from a backcourt that already lost Keene, Rayson, and Jefferson.

The roster picture at Buffalo gets a little more clear. Nikola Rakicevic's knee problems is forcing him to give up basketball. I did not know this prior to this development, but apparently Buffalo didn't have a scholarship open for Mizzou transfer PG Wes Clark. They do now.

I will fear the Bulls most of all entering next year. I think that without Tone we will be misjudged and the preview magazines will focus on "OU lost Tony Campbell, Jaaron Simmons, Kenny Kaminski and Rodney Culver." This will be misguided though as we will return a VERY solid core in Laster, Block, Taylor, Carter and Dartis while adding what I think will be solid veteran in Mickle. Buffalo returns the most quality at this point with Perkins, Massinburg, Smart and Carruthers so they will get more play. Adding Clark as a transfer is huge as well and Graves will be a MAC stud. But I think we have the best incoming class in the MAC with all 4 making an impact.

I agree. And at this time predict we will be the most improved through the season and give Buffalo a good game in the MACC final

I may be the only one but I'm not a big fan of Clark. He definitely fits the mold of a Buffalo player though. He strong and tough and likes taking it to the hole but he's got a lot of Bean in him. I'll be very happy if he is one of their main ball handlers.

And let's see if he can actually stay eligible. He was suspended his Freshman year, his Sophomore year and then kicked off the team as a Junior after another suspension.

I'm with you Van. And I think it says a lot that Buffalo was willing to let him be on the team without a scholarship. They'd rather give one to some freshmen like Graves than him. There's even talk in that article I posted that they might not even give Clark the open scholly.

According to Verbal Commits on 7/8, unsurprisingly, Robot-Ham headed to UNLV.

Not sure how much he figured in the Bulls plans but sophomore Quate J. McKinzie has been suspended indefinitely for domestic violence. Based on the charges I doubt his Buffalo basketball career will survive this.

Looks like the charges go far beyond domestic violence.

Ahh, UB making Jim Christian's Kent teams look like a bunch of choir boys. I'm glad that sort of thing hasn't been around OUr program for the most part.
