...of Findlay for knocking off Toledo in an exhibition last night!

All joking aside, Findlay is a really good D2 program.

The game was apparently scheduled to raise money for the Red Cross. Good on them.

Better watch out for my wife's hometown college -- the Crusaders will be on a mission on Nov. 4! [The above is a result of channeling my inner McKinney.]

Looks like Kowalczyk is putting together another great defensive squad.

Meaningless exhibition game. Toledo was probably trying to play the entire game with their non-dominant hand and taking shots with their eyes closed to level the playing field to make it fun.

I like that they went to Findlay's gym for the exhibition. Small packed gym against a good team. I know Kent played an exhibition at Wooster in the last 15 years. I don't think it's a bad idea for us to play at Marietta, but only as an exhibition.

Though not a meltdown, some on the UT fan board seem to think that this signals a long, rough season for the Rockets: http://www.csnbbs.com/thread-831231.html

At the beginning of last season, Findlay went into UD Arena and led for about 35 minutes before UD pulled the game out in the final minutes. UD went to the NCAAs. Don't put too much weight into these games. Michigan St. had to escape Ferris St. last night, etc.

Until we struggle in our exhibition, in which case it's time to panic. ;)
