I wouldn't expect they'll want to play many MAC schools. I believe the question he asked of fans referred to X, UC, UD.

OSU finally got a coach who isn't scared of other Ohio schools, eh?
Now we'll see if they have an athletic director who is not a scaredy cat....

I think we already know the answer to that. Hopefully Coach Holtmann convinces him to play some in state schools home and home for the benefit of the fans, who clearly want that.

The question was asked by a fan at a season ticket holder event. The fan mentioned that they occasionally play a MAC school but he would like to play Dayton, Cincinnati or Xavier in the future. Holtman asked if the fans in attendance if they wanted those 3 teams on the schedule. There was loud applause.
He basically said he would do what he could to play one of them each year. He did mention the Indiana Classic where Indian, Purdue, Notre dame and Butler play one Saturday each year. Holtman mentioned that might be something that could happen in the future with 4 Ohio schools.
I do think that Ohio State plays Miami Ohio this year on Dec.30.

Well, of course not! The season ticket holders in Columbus weren't talking about the minor league MAC when they were clamoring for an upgraded non conference schedule...
Maybe Chris will schedule a MAC team once every 2-3 years. Maybe.

I don't believe them until they do. Remember, they haven't gone on the road since 1998.....

There is a great pho place here called Pho Kim. Regarding Holtmann not wanting to play MAC schools, I say Pho Kim.

LOL, there's one with the same name in Alexandria, VA. I'm guessing she opened it with the proceeds from the divorce.
