I wish that I could be that lucky to turn my mind off like that. This was such a frustrating season that it's going to be hard to forget. Maybe if we play like gangbusters next year, it'll help, but for now it's a painful memory.

Crushing loss. Definitely started to believe we might have some March magic in our favor when Pav got the shooting foul to end regulation.

I know Sheldon has been a popular transfer candidate, but Boals seems to favor him for better or worse.

I was suprised he got the nod in OT regardless of the foul at the end. I would have rolled with Vic and tried to play bigger with Adams and eventually Simmons out.

We’ll see how things unfold over the next few weeks, but a major let down of season to finish .500.

That game just epitomizes our season. Had no business losing it… But we did! I think we were five up with about two minutes or so to go. And, just didn’t finish it.
Good news, we kept them to less than 80 in regulation. Once it got over 80 in overtime, we were toast.

He subbed in with 1 sec left in regulation. Otherwise, sat out last 4:23 of regulation and all 5 min of OT.

Yep. We brought in a 6-6 slow wing from D3, a 7 foot project from Florida A&M and a 5-foot-10 ballhandler who can't create their own shot. So the usual. And I never said I turned it off. Just felt off about our start. I appear to be correct.

Other than Reef do we have anybody fast on defense? Chaos takes charges and AJC has solid timing. I would say Elliott but Boals benched him as well.

it,s past time for a big change. the switch has been flipped. we now got a football team among the best in the mac and maybe a bit more . the basketball team is now medicore. we need to start recruiting bigger faster players and at least consider a new coach and or a different conference .

Searles was arguably our second best player today and given the situation involving their bigs there was even more reason for him to be in at the end. I could never make it as a basketball coach. I don’t understand anything. Although, on the other hand, we did lose.

Midway point of 2nd half, Ohio up 1, 6-1 Sheldon with a clean block of 6-6 Adams but called for the foul. Adams makes both foul shots.

Ohio wins in regulation with a no call or a successful challenge allowed in the NBA??

Massively disappointing season. No other way to put it. Huge expectations but nothing to show for it.

A .500 record is horrendous even with the injuries factored in. This was one of the worst years for the MAC in quite some time and we get bounced in the quarterfinals.

Teams are supposed to be figuring things out late in the season and the few healthy guys we did have still didn’t look in sync. Several times during the game I was forced to question Boals’ coaching and player awareness. He’s certainly nowhere close to the hot seat but it’s time to start questioning what his strategy on improving things is because his plan has repeatedly fallen short in recent seasons.

You didnt say which conference. The AAC? The Big East? Maybe the ACC?

I can’t remember a more frustrating BB year, but 4 years ago in FB at 3-9 has this beat by a mile for me.
